It'll just fallback on HSPA when there's no LTE signal.

Hi guys, planning to get a data plan with the Samsung Note. I don't need a lot of local minutes (just need to add the unlimited incoming calls feature), good texting plan would be nice because I text a lot. My question is: Is Bell's LTE coverage stable and good? I tend to run around the GTA and York Region, sometimes to Ajax, Brampton, Niagara Falls, etc. I hope to get good and stable coverage so I don't have to worry about the GPS not working or locating on my phone, emails not updating, etc.
It's either Bell or Rogers for me. Any suggestions? Thanks!

My Plan - $60
200 Local Daytime Minutes
E/W @ 6
Fab 10 Nationwide
Unlimited North America SMS / MMS
10 Hours Mobile TV
6GB LTE compatible data
This was my review last december when I was still with them, Im not sure if there is any improvement since I left them for rogers and now happy with the real LTE coverage Im getting. My advice is dont believe on the coverage map before jumping in, ask for first hand experience from friends or forum members here.
Here is the thread about it:

Rogers LTE is better but Bells HSPA is better. This is my personal experience and yours may differ.

I'm yet to see LTE on my HTC raider anywhere I've been. Live north of Guelph and should be on the 75mbps version of LTE. Never.
Never seen it connect to LTE in Guelph itself, Hamilton or Toronto. Always HSPA+. Which isn't the end of the world as it's fairly speedy anyway. Just sucks that the coverage map seems to be the result of a photoshop competition in some Bell office somewhere.
Funny part is, I am not in an LTE area and I get a signal (but am having other issues)
Galaxy S4 on Bell
I am having problems as well it randomly shuts off and i have to reboot the radio for it to work. I have to check it allot and it's annoying....![]()
Verry unstable!Lately my note has been cycling thru no data to all of the icons them back to no data and I'm in a lte coverage area. Everyone I know with notes on bell is having the same problem.

Are you sure your account is provisioned right?
I couldn't get LTE on an iPad in downtown Toronto, and it turns out there was something wrong with the provisioning. Once they fixed that, boom, LTE... (and yes, LTE coverage isn't that great, but it's not non-existent either)
i need the data though it should both work lol. I am going to flash an AKOP ROM and that should give me some options!
Very strange! One of our workers bought both the Samsung S3 and the LG Optimus and had no end in problems with getting a stable LTE connection. He bought them to use as a hybrid mobile/tethered internet option. We decided to send both handsets back and pick up two LTE U330 sticks instead.
So far the LTE sticks have been running solidly on LTE in the same locations the Samsung and LG gave constant connectivity issues.
I suppose "first" out of the gate is a great way to get others to run through the wrinkles of these devices before those of us who prefer stable connections get our hands on them... ;-)
