can a Bell locked CDMA blackberry work on any other networks?

I have a Bell locked CDMA Blackberry Curve 8530. The phone doesn't use a SIM card.

Can I have this phone unlocked to work on another provider's network? Which other networks would it work on?

    Thanks

In theory you can, but other providers have strict policies against the activation of CDMA devices from other networks.

Only if the other carrier will add it to their network and provide you with the PRL file.

The only way is to change the ESN, a fairly simple task unless you are a noobis-grandis..

I have done it, changed a Bell phone into a Telus phone...

it is illegal tho. so dont do it.
