Could you go a little bit more into detail please? Like an example of how much we should be seeing off a phone???

So with the new Share everything plan, the comm. structure focuses on phone subsidy and for the owner is GOOD, for the front lines it sucks.
Red isn't big on details, just on negativity.

I see that, my reason for asking is I get paid 10% commission of gross profit.
Right now there is no real reason for me to push any 4g phone except for 2-3 of them because they all make less gross profit then an iphone. and every feature phone makes more GP then an iphone. so I am trying to figure out what will be worth while once these new plans go into effect and they completely screw me out of commission due to no one wanting to spend $30-$50 more a month for service they already have.
Depending where u work it will change accordingly, I just know that the days of tier loading and "feature" loading are over.. So you basically make money on equipment, accessories, bba, home connect, and insurance(maybe).. They did this to streamline the whole process of paying out indirects and to help them subsidize their phone costs. Ultimately, what will happen most places will go to a system like Best Buy just hourly and prorated commission based on store numbers, and hours worked.
If nothing with our cost or phone prices change then a lot of Droids will make more than an iPhone even on upgrades. Some of the over $50 more at the store level.
And anyone talking negative about the new plans needs to rethink it. We have no choice but to make it a good thing. I have several people coming in on Thursday to change to them because they will be saving money.
Basically it would only cost more for people with several basic phones. Up to 2 basic phones is still the same price as 700 minutes today. Even 3 basic phones on new pricing is the same as on 1400 minutes today. Plus no existing customers have to switch. They can even continue adding $9.99 lines to their old plans. Let's face it. The days of adding multiple line new account are fading anyway. It happens rarely now. It's more about adding devices on to already existing customers.
Amen. I don't think this is a terrible comp plan. We survive selling iPhones and can now focus on 4G devices. I'm not a hater in this change. I'm just concerned with how slow it's been.
It will continue to be slow. Less incentive to renew with lack of NE2s and 30 dollar upg fees. If customers as a whole hold out an extra few months between upgs, less and less traffic will continue. Make the most of every opportunity.
Group Hug guys, sings *we are gonna make it*
