Hi all,
I just installed this app over the weekend on my iphone and started using it. I sent some texts to my GF and it was working fine. She didn't have this App but was able to recieve it. Once she installed it on her iphone, she can send it to them, but can't recieve any emoticons, she just recieves the text with the square. I recieve hers.
When I send it to her, I see the emoticons that i send on my Iphone but she doesn't recieve it. Does anyone know whether this her issue or mine. She has the 3GS, but I don't think it matters because she recieved them just fine before installing the app.
I am a little confused. My Verizon phone was able to roam on GSM because they used TDMA. Tell it was shutdown. The phone recognizes it as Analog. If PCS has TDMA, It could be technically be used on GSM.

Well it does look like i already added it as the App asked me to, so rite now i have 2 keyboards under international. I just removed the app, but i still have the emoji keyboard already. I'm just trying to figure out why the heck did i install in the first place.
Just a question, once i have added it, i'm noticing there is no way to remove it. Is this how it.
Thanks
Of course, i don't know what i was thinking...i just totally didn't see the edit part. I got confused when i hit on the emoji, and then saw the check mark, which i was trying to uncheck..
Thanks....
But i still have no idea what the app was trying to do, because i'm doing exactly the same thing it asked me to do but without the app...
My girlfriend doesn't have ios 5, but she can certainly send me the emoticons with the app but just cant recieve them. I will try now that i have the app unistalled, i dont see how that can make a difference on her end.
Originally Emoji was on only Japanese iPhones. There were some apps that would enable it on other iPhones. These are no longer needed since Emoji is now available on all iPhones with the current iOS.
