If you have apps syncing that would do it. Email being checked, Facebook notifying, G+, weather, etc. Anything that needs to "call out".

I wasn't on my phone much all day but when I looked at it the battery was almost dead. I just happened to be looking at my USCC accountand noticed 200meg was used today. What in the world would of caused this? I haven't downloaded any new apps or anything.

Google does a lot of synching and apps sometimes update themselves using Google Play. You can use the Watchdog app to monitor data usage on your phone or turn data off entirely when not using it.
My phone burned through a gig of data in a day because it kept downloading this HTC update that was like 93mb and then it would just cancel itself, download again, and keep going. Glad I had it plugged in, also glad I have unlimited data. Gotta watch these phones sometimes. With 4G at even 50mbps you can burn through a GB in literally minutes.

Thanks for the information. I was concerned since my phone had never done that before. I was wondering if some sort of update was pushed out and causing this.
Some data used vs TXT usage questions...
