Oh wow, my friend who pre-ordered from Google got his yesterday. Next time, it's probably better to stick with BestBuy/Futureshop. I ordered 2 from BestBuy and got them last week.

I played with one yesterday and for the price it's a good buy I think.

Got my Nexus7 16GB a few hours ago. UPS shows up to the door, I open the door, the delivery guy smiles and hands it to me and walks away. No checking ID, no asking my name, no signing for delivery! Egads. So many things could have gone wrong!
Played with it for a bit. Sorta weird that when it turned on it already knew my Google Account name. (All hail our new overlord GOOGLE!). Fresh out of the box and it was asking to be updated OTA to 4.1.1. Quick and easy. Also a bit of learning experience for me... I keep trying to find the menu button at the bottom! Included movie shows off the the amazing display and the sound level is great. I almost wish this sucker was a phone as well
OK... I go bye bye now. I got my new toy to play with!

Too bad about the phone. The int'l Note included a phone. But theirs always GV and Groove IP or Talkatone which I like.
