I've noticed a lot of similar posts on the web but not too much in the way of answers yet. I just got a new BB980, unlocked, and the camera app either just displays a black screen or says it can't start the app because there are already too many other apps running, or something like that. It's brand new, so there are no other apps running. I only put one name in the contact list so far, that's it. So any ideas? It is running os6 bundle 2115 (v6.0.0.480m platform 6.5.0.153)

Same problem with or without SIMple Mobile SIM card in place.

I would love to try out the camera, but so far no luck. No, battery pulls don't work, and did the software update & it said it was up to date. I have seen a few later versions out there for specific carriers - not sure if they would work any better or how to install them properly. Supposedly just deleting the vendor.xml file will do the trick, but I'm not sure.

Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
