Los Angeles Any iPhone things I need to know & coverage around Disneyland (coming from Canada).

Essentially I know that the only real options are AT&T/T-Mobile to use my iPhone for a week in the LA area (mostly around Disneyland), I also know AT&T doesn't make it easy, so I'm looking at T-Mobile for prepaid service for my week. I have an officially unlocked iPhone and since the data would be 2G only I'm looking at the $2 a day unlimited prepaid plan. Is there anything else I need to know to make my iPhone work (note it's not jailbroken)?

Also I hoping someone has some first hand experience in the area with an iPhone on T-Mobile so they can tell me what I'm looking at. In previous roaming visits my phone defaulted to AT&T (my carrier only just started unlocking the phones), and even when I had 3G turned off, my phone didn't seem to perform that much worse than it does at home here in Canada (my carrier is having plenty of issues in my city). I wouldn't need anything extreme but if I'm waiting in long lines/have down time I'd like to keep up with my twitter, and I wouldn't mind using Disney's Mobile Magic app. Thanks for any feedback.

I would guess that T-Mobile would be good in LA since its a packed city. Disneyland is not in LA but in OC(Orange County), and I guess Disneyland would be moderate since I doubt there will be cell phone anntenas inside DisneyLand or Disney's California Adventure(Unless you are at the edge of the park), and since how packed Disneyland is.

I'm not sure about that. I actually live in Chicago and when I brought my factory unlocked AT&T iPhone 4 to tmobile to see what speeds I'll be getting if I switched they said 2g cuz they didn't make a tower anywhere in Illinois. I was especially shocked because I lived in Chicago.
