Samsung Galaxy S SGH-T959P compatible with Wind?

Is this Samsung Fascinate SGH-T959P compatible with Wind?
According to the specs it supports HSPA 2100. I know Wind requires 1700 / 2100. Anyone know?

No, that is the Bell version (I think). You need the Samsung Vibrant SGH-T959 (which is the T-Mobile USA version)

It was originally locked to Telus. Did Telus use the T-Mobile version?

Telus doesnt use the same frequency as T-Mobile so therefore they are NOT the same phone.

Its like batteries for flashlights... ALL the flashlights uses batteries but not ALL batteries fit in all flashlights.

No, the Telus/Bell version is not compatible with T-Mobile/Wind. Sorry.

That's from the SGS "one" series. Telus released a phone analogous to T-Mobile's but with different bands.

The SGS II from Telus *does* support WIND's bands and is identical to the T-Mobile version in most respects.

The SGS III from Telus *does not* because it's the version designed to have LTE.

fascinate, captivate, and vibrant are all HSPA 1900/850mhz and will not work on wind or mobi.
the ones sold in canada at least.

pretty much anything sold by tmobile recently will work on wind or mobi.

telus's 2 is called sgs II X (hercules) i believe and will work on wind and mobi.
