I like JB a lot as well. I miss a few things from the CM9 that I had before (like Quiet time, the status bar customizations etc) but overall the feeling of JB is just great.
One kind of annoying thing though - dunno if I did something wrong - however the Play store won't automatically download all my apps - I see them in a VERY long list - but they are never downloaded by themselves - I have manually add them which is a real pain because I have scroll down a very long list. It always used to download automatically - I tried clearing the app cache etc but it did not help.
The new radio is also great - I used to have real issues switching between WiFi to WIND when leaving my apartment and having a dead zone (elevator ride) in-between - that seems much better now.
Really wonder how the battery of the GN is going to be affected. Already pretty horrible battery life on ICS, with JB being seemingly more demanding on the hardware, I suppose we can expect it to be worst?
The JB announcement is, once again, why I will not get another non-Nexus Android phone (still praying that Sony makes the next one, I love their phone designs of the X10 and Xperia S).
On the same day the NA Galaxy S3 is released, Google goes ahead and announces JB. Talk about an obsolete piece of tech as SOON as you buy it. Ya ya ya, the S3 will eventually get JB (and it's not even out yet), but this is exactly Android's problem...don't undercut your own platform by announcing the next best thing on the same day of a big product launch.
At least with the GN, the optimized software of JB is compensating the relatively outdated hardware.
I normally used to Juice Defender Ultimate and got good battery life on ICS. It seems JB for me is working well enough to be as good or better as it was with Juice Defender on. So I would say battery is better than it was before.
Unfortunately my CM9 modification to show the battery percentage is gone, so I can only judge the battery use by the drop in the battery icon, but it seemed pretty good to me.
The new radio might also be the reason why the battery is better - because it is definitely better at finding signal.
I'm on 4.0.2 on my Wind Galaxy Nexus, but that's just because it came with it out of the box. Did you buy your phone from Wind? Sooner or later I'll get fed up enough of waiting for Samsung to push updates that I'll flash my phone to the Google build.
I bought mine from WIND with 4.0.1 out of the box and then flashed to 4.0.2 because 4.0.1 didn't detect WIND Away as roaming. I then got OTA updates for 4.0.3 and 4.0.4. I bought my phone around February.

If you flashed a yakju or takju build, then you would start getting updates from Google. Your best bet for fast updates is a takju build.
Has anyone been having problems with data staying active on WIND away since upgrading to 4.1? Just want to make sure I don't get caught with the 4.0.1 bug.
I've just installed the new OS a few days ago and have lost my desire to upgrade to the new SIII. Jelly bean is sweet.

I've had no issues. Still reconnects faster than my Rogers iPhone 4S when I emerge from the subway.

There are a few show-stopping bugs in JRN84D that will probably need to be fixed before a full rollout to all users.
