TELUS' Samsung S3 is only dual-core, not quad-core?!

A friend of mine pointed out that the overseas version of the S3 has a quad-core processor. Meanwhile, TELUS' version is only dual-core. If you were thinking of buying it outright (no term price), you're better off to buy a European model.

You should go read a technical manual. It'll explain why ours is dual core.

Lol. Yeah, depends if you want LTE or not. Also might want to compare benches for s4 and exynos.

LTE and 2GB of ram in ours.
Besides who has 4 or more concurrent threads going on a mobile device?

We think everyone should be able to afford a wireless phone. That's why we were the first wireless company in North America to offer pay-by-the-second airtime, and why we don't charge an activation fee. NO scary contract to sign. Immediate national coverage. And a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Yes, it's finally time to get a wireless phone.

Having just picked up the S3 I have to tell you that dual 1.5 GHz cores (with 2GB RAM) is plenty. Remember, not all software is even optimized for 4 cores yet.

I had the HTC Hero beforehand so this thing is an absolute dream :-D

And the dual core S4 is based on the more advanced A15 core, while the Exynos' quads are still A9s.
