can I get Asurion insurance plan on month-to-month tablet?

can I get Asurion insurance plan on month-to-month tablet?

on my smartphones, I just keep paying the monthly Asurion fee on my VZW bill...

if I get a VZW tablet(Samsung or iPad), will I be able to get coverage during
the months that I dont' have it activated on the VZW network?

    Thanks!

Are you asking if you can get Asurion on an nonactive tablet?

the months of September, October, and November? Will

I've never heard of someone having insurance on a device that isn't active. Why do you want to pay $10.99/mo for insurance anyway? I'd take my chances with a case/screen protector and being careful.

There are other companies than Asurion that sell device insurance. Best Buy, Radio Shack, WM, etc offer it at the register and there's a few other companies like Foursquare(?) that offer insurance too. I'd guess you can't get Asurion unless they offered some sort of lump sum payment plan, but there are plenty of other options depending on how you purchase the tablet.

After problems related to a claim I dropped Asurion years ago for www.squaretrade.com and am very happy with the change.

If the line isn't active and being billed (paying the insurance premium) you won't be able to make a claim.

When you get Asurion through Verizon, the device has to be active. You can get it on month-to-month devices. I don't know if Asurion has some kind of service where you can insure non-acive devices on their own, though.

This is the best response cause it is true. If the insurance is not added from day 1 and you're not paying the premium from day 1 then you're not covered. It's just like car insurance. Sorry.
No longer a VZW employee, but still a good information source.

With all that money you save monthly with your Sprint plan, you should be able to order Hooked On Phonics - remember, the phone number to order this is 1-800-ABCDEFG.
