I'm not a huge fan of enclosed phones, where you can't swap out the battery yourself.
But I wanted to know is if there were any problems with the One S at all in regards to the battery overall.
I like the phone and would like to get it, but I'd also like to make sure there aren't any major consistent problems with the battery.
I've had mine for about a month and have had no battery issues at all, in fact last week the battery was more then half dead so decided to drain the rest for a full over night charge, put Apollo 13 via Netflix on thinking its a nice long movie so should drain the rest but still had 14% battery when the movie was done o_O.
Mine is rooted and I do turn off a lot of services that don't need to run to maximize battery but I have done quite a bit of video with it at full 1080HD, a ton of pictures and of course surfing .. all has been good so far.
HTC one have smart battery life, it is kind of damn cool actually. I mean I can use my cell phone for a whole day without charging it. The brilliant thing about this phone is that it have some battery saving stuffs, which kills battery unnecessary consuming apps.
I have HTC One V and my battery really sucks. Somethimes I use it for 5 days and it still have power, but I had few suprises like 6h working time. Battery is completely unpredictable. My model was made in Taiwan.
The life of battery is a big problem for all of the most smartphones, you need to charge it everyday after play games, watch movies, and do something online.
