Purchased a LG Marquee on CL that cannot be activated on Sprint

Well....I F#$^ED up. I ALWAYS CHECK ESNs, but the seller has the charger and manuals...so I automatically thought why go through the trouble of checkin the ESN the odds are the phone is NOT stolen....Well little did I know sprint now blocks ESNs if you dont pay the bill.

Now I am stick with a phone I cant use. Are there any options for this? Can I flash it to Boost or some other carrier and sell it?

I hate it when I see stories like this. I recently sold my old EVO 4G. I listed it on craigslist and volunteered to meet the buyer at a Sprint store until it was actually activated on his account.
