Thread: Home Screen landscape mode?

    The keyboard is the only trigger for rotating the Homescreen UI that I have found.

    There must be a reason the stock software doesn't rotate when the phone is rotated. But what could it be?

    I don't use LP because I like the stock UI on the phones we have, except for the missing feature of rotating the homescreen UI.

    Good link above. Apparently Google doesn't want the OS to rotate because they believe it works better in one mode or the other. Coming from a physical keyboard phone this makes no sense to me because I'm used to the OS changing mode to match the orientation of the phone.
