Regarding the Palm Pre on PP: does anyone know for certain that MMS works on this phone? Looks to be a good backup phone or a basic somewhat smart phone.
Anyone who would spend a little bit of time uncovering the most basic facts about PPC through reading the threads here would know, ANY Verizon Wireless phone, except for those meant for Verizon's prepaid services, can be used on Page Plus Cellular. That's the predominant topic in most of the written content here. There may even be a Sticky regarding it.
MMS will work, but you have to have cellular data turned on (since data is a component of the process), and for those who might be using the Standard Plan (regular pay-by-the-minute service), it would be typical to have it turned off so as to not inadvertently use data and incur the costs. That would apply even with monthly plans if you really want to control things to your advantage. So you would need to get into the habit of manually switching it on or off as needed.
When the HELL will Palm Pre be available on EDRP???
Will an un-activated Palm Pre work on a WiFi network?
