Calendar reminders changing themselves?

I have an HTC Vivid on ICS with a weird issue on the calendar. My default reminder is none, and when I create the event it reflects that. Then next time I view the event, the reminder has changed to 'on time' all by itself. I can change it back to none but it never fails that next time I view the event its back to on time! I have it sync'd to Google Calendar, then down to Thunderbird. Any ideas?

Nobody else have this problem? lucky....it happens everytime I sync!

yeah, i was going to suggest that it was a syncing issue. there is a default in the setting somewhere (either on your phone or the desktop), so when you sync it ignores what you've set it as and goes back to default
