    IPhone 3GS iOS update question..

    Wife has a jailbroken IPhone 3GS running on firmware 4.2.1. Would like to upgrade her firmware to 5.1.1. Phone is currently using tetherme to enable mms settings. My question is, if I do the firmware upgrade, while my apn and mms settings revert back to the default AT&T settings or will I have to re jailbreak and do it all over again? Also, if I have to re jailbreak, is there an untethered jailbreak for 5.1.1. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks hofo!!

    If you do a backup, then after updating to iOS 5.1.1 restore that backup, the APN settings keep working.
    There is a jailbreak for 5.1.1 that is untethered.... absinthe
