At least RP adjusted their prices, Jolt hasn't and H20 is still playing data games...
It's actually a worse deal than RP as they kept the $60 price, but only give 1GB of data now.
I'd say $50 for a gig is worthwhile but $55? Meh. I'd rather pay the $60 for two gigs. Straight Talk and Net10 are better deals at this point. I just don't like ST because they are a Walmart monopoly and both have the same crummy CS all America Movil companies do.
Page Plus is going to kill the Att mvnos if they keep horsing around with prices, plans and data allotments. Page Plus increased their $55 plan allotment from 300 megs to 500 to 1 gig to 2 gigs without touching the prices.
Is it Att or is it the mvnos doing this on their own? Hmmm... (Air Voice has steadily gotten better in their offerings though still no 2 gig ).
All of these silly caps and throttles and data limits and games really annoy me. They should just start selling ala carte data packs already so we can customize a package to our own usage instead of being forced into all these cookie cutter plans which make no sense. I mean two gigs and half a gig is full speed? Even Virgin Mobile gives 2.5 gigs before they throttle and then its still up to 256 k, which is potentially 3g speeds...
To be fair, Virgin Mobile is lucky to deliver 256kbps any time, past cap or not.
I agree the games are getting old but I think it gets worse before it gets better. They are still kicking and screaming on the old legacy model of voice, desperately trying to hold off the inevitable - the dumb pipe they all will be at some point.

Which tells us just how overpriced all this cellular data really is. No?
To be fair on the PP though, Verizon's old 3G is capped out most places. It's almost as bad as Sprint in some areas. Too many users now. Eventually it may improve as Red moves the herd to LTE but that is an evolving thing. In other words, the relative value of the 2GB is less in my book. I'll take HSPA+ on either T or A any day over EVDO...

I would concur. Technologically, HSPA+ is far superior speed-wise than the 3G offered by CDMA carriers like Verizon and Sprint...
