I don't know for your area (which is?), but it looks like here in NorCal we won't see LTE from USCC until 2013, we'll have it this year (hopefully) from VZ though. AT&T should start pushing LTE out up here in 2013.

Apologies if this has been covered but I searched and could not locate it.
I know there was a press release or whathaveyou that stated all of the cities that USCC plans to have LTE rolled out to before the end of the year. I spoke with a phone rep for USCC a few weeks back and she told me my area is in Wave 2 which is the next one planned.
Anyone have any idea when Wave 2 will be complete?
Thanks!

I'm in Beaver Dam, WI. It is on the list USCC released for LTE service before the end of the year which is generic. I'm not sure how many waves there are for those "before the end of the year" rollouts but the rep said Wave 1 is complete and I'm in Wave 2 which is to be completed next.
Here is the Press Release from earlier in the year.
I'm also in the second phase, which the press release says happens in the second half of 2012. I did talk to a store associate who told me it would be in the summer, but who knows if it's actually staying on that schedule.

The list I saw was more detailed with specific little towns, etc.
The rep made it sound like the "by the end of the year" list was actually broken down into phases or "waves" as she termed it. I was hoping someone was familiar with these and knew of more specific timeframes for these waves.
I would also like to see a specific list if it exists.

Here's the list I was referring to which includes small towns, etc:

Yep, nothing here in NorCal with USCC this year, though Verizon should be rolling it out here in Mendocino & Lake Counties later this year. I expect to see at least some LTE from USCC in our area sometime in 2013, with AT&T (formerly Edge Wireless) in 2013 or 2014.
Has anyone seen a detailed list of small towns in Iowa that should get service this year?

Hey don't feel so bad....I'm in Chicago and I don't think we will ever see LTE here!
I couldn't find a list for Iowa, but I found a news story on crestonnews . com that lists some of the Iowa towns on the wave 2 list. I don't have enough posts to add links yet, but here is the list from the article on May 18th.
The second wave of cities, where 4G will be available in 2012, includes Boone, Burlington, Clinton, Columbus Junction, DeWitt, Dyersville, Fairfield, Fort Dodge, Fort Madison, Independence, Iowa Falls, Keokuk, Knoxville, Manchester, Maquoketa, Mason City, Muscatine, Ottumwa, Perry, Story City, Washington and Webster City. (See the map above for the cities included in the first wave)
