Putting music on Droid x2

I have a Droid X2 and tried to put about 10 ringtones on the phone and once i unplugged it from usb to play/set ringtone on the phone the song would skip like a scratched cd? I want to put a few albums on the phone but dont want them to have the same problem any way to do it other than drag and drop. I also tried to use the motorla program with the same result. Thanks

That's a strange problem. I wouldn't be surprised if you'd have the same problem with any other way of transferring the files, but here's something you can try. Another way you can get songs on your phone is over a wireless network. Share the folder on your computer that contains the music files. Then you can connect to it from your phone - I suggest using the free app ES File Explorer, which has a built-in network browser; but any file manager that supports SMB/LAN shares should work. Of course, both your computer and your phone need to be connected to the same network.
