xtachx did say they were going to allow bittorrents again so I guess it makes sense. Would've thought they'd allow it after the 21Mb upgrade because of the added backhaul.

Don't ask why, but for the past few days, I tried to tether internet onto my laptop to run bittorrent. It could not register the tracker, until a few hours ago. Not only I could register the tracker, I am able to download contents via BitTorrent at full speed.
Is it only me or users in Vancouver, or this is happening to everyone?!

This comes off a stupid decision on behalf of mobilicity--they should have implemented a much needed and effective system for data usage, a system in which the data usage wouldn't be as restricted to increments of 15 minutes and completely dropping unpractical options like torrenting as a tradeoff.
I think we may be starting rmto see some speed upgrades. Got this speed time after time at 11pm in Vancouver.

Sorry, there it is!
After running 15 tests I finally passed the ~2Mb throttle mark, got 2.5Mb down. Either Mobi removed the throttle limit or has "activated" the enhanced backhaul in prep for the 21Mb upgrade.
Looks like some work still needs to be done but nice to see Mobi finally beginning the upgrades.. As soon as around 11 am hit, speeds went back to normal (0.3Mb down and up).
Just did a test but not sure how to get the result from the phone other than a screen of it... got 2.8 down and 0.254 up. What I noticed besides the speed was that the speedtest app reported that the ISP hosting was Teksavvy Solutions. Might be that mobi has moved or is shifting away from MTS allstream.
