The opinions stated here are my own, not necessarily those of my employer.
All I have to say is - finally! Why is it that, with their cozy relationship with Huawei, it's taken this long to get a device out of them that isn't a disposable piece of junk? Huawei does make some good hardware, it just hasn't ever seen the light of day in Canada.

Huawei is actually pretty good (compared to other manufacturers) at updating their phones, so I'm guessing it'll see JB pretty soon after its release.
Does anyone know which processor the phone uses?
I don't care how good the prize is, I won't be taking part in it. I don't have now, & never will have, a FB account. As big as FB is, the vast majority of people don't have a membership and I refuse to set one up just to take part in a marketing campaign.

The phone IS coming to WIND.3. HOW TO ENTER There are two ways to enter: A. Internet access and valid Facebook® account required. Eligible participants may enter the Contest by purchasing from WIND™ Mobile a Huawei U2801™, Huawei U6150™, Huawei U8350™, Huawei U8651™, or Huawei Ascend P1™ and activating the handset with any WIND™ Mobile monthly plan, then visiting and “liking” the WINDmobile page on the Facebook platform*
Also, the approx value is $3200 CAD.
Trips to LA from Toronto cost around $650. So for two that's $1300 one way. $2600 to go to and back from LA.
That leaves $600.
Take away the cost of 2 $40 months.
The average cost of a 4-star hotel looks to be around $100 a 2-night stay is $200.
That leaves only $320 for the phone.
If it comes in for $399, I'll probably pick one up.
Though I'm expecting a markup to $449.
The word 'Pentaband' means '5 Bands', from the Greek word 'pente' meaning '5'. For a phone to be pentaband it has to support 5 bands. If the phone has AWS support, it doesn't automatically mean that it is pentaband. The reason Wind and Mobilicity users like pentaband phones is because the reverse is true. We're not the only ones who like pentaband phones though, so please stop referring to phones that work on Wind and Mobilicity as pentaband. It causes unnecessary cofusion.
