My guess would be MY10 Nationwide means Canada only, otherwise they would have called it MY10 International.

Unlimited NATIONWIDE talk and text messaging with your 10 Favourite Numbers
The current promo plans include nationwide My10:
Can you add a US number to it?
Can you add a 1-800 number to it?
My guess would be MY10 Nationwide means Canada only, otherwise they would have called it MY10 International.

Canada.....NATIONWIDE....USA is not in our NATION
1-800 numbers are never valid either.
What about the UNLIMITED messaging included in most plans now, does that include US numbers?
No, US texting is not included either.
^Actually, on TELUS, US is included for outgoing SMS..but those aren't advertised as "nationwide"

Correct. Texting from Canada to the US is included in our text packages. Sending and/or receiving in the US is $0.60/message though.Originally Posted by WorldIRC
Firkin Rogers was the first one to exclude US texting then fido followed, they have made the change back to including US texting but not for all plans. Thank God it was one the only thing bell and telus did not copy.
Can you share your strategy how you use Nationwide My10?
I originally thought I could use it with some US numbers or 1-800 for work but neither works so that's out the window.
I don't really have that many out of town friends to talk to either.
I'm actually thinking of adding COMPANIES (like my bank / credit card / cable / phone company) but it's not like I will talk to them all the time...
Also, can you switch up the My10s anytime? Won't I get unlimited minutes if I just go in and change My10 whenever I have to make a call?
Thanks for your guidance.
Any changes to your Nationwide Fav10 take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If you are anticipating a trip (within Canda) next month, you can enter your most frequently called numbers and a few numbers in the city that you are going to such as hotel, restaurant, etc now and they will take effect next month.
Renewed contract June, 2012:
Telus Student 50 - 2 Lines: $50 +tax - 500 anytime, eve/wknds @ 5PM, CID, VM25, 5GB data, unlmtd text, FAV10 nationwide
When you go into the My10 section it tells you when the changes will take place, always the start of the next billing cycle so if I'm going to change any of mine I always just wait till the last few days of the month. It also states the U.S, 1-800, 1-900 ect cannot be used, only Canadian numbers except the telus voicemail number.
