    Red pocket national roaming?

Apparently Red pocket supports roaming now - goredpocket.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/10/0/does-red-pocket-mobile-allow-roaming

Any idea what networks this on on? Perhaps they lowered the data on the old 59 usd plan to be able to afford this?

"Red Pocket Mobile service includes domestic roaming within the 50 United States, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands at no additional charge. We do not support international roaming. "

    1. Red Pocket runs on AT&T ; you can roam about the country but you cannot roam onto another network.
    2. Their notion of "roaming" is different from what we use here.

What do you mean roam about the country ?
    Travel ?

Ru saying RP is inferring roaming to them means hopping across the USA with your phone?
    Please explain, curious but baffled.

Perhaps they mean you can leave your local area and the phone will work - roaming was the term for this before years ago since you would see the roaming indicator even if you were still on AT&T when leaving your local area.

The real question is : will Red Pocket allow roaming outside the AT&T native coverage (AT&T Go Phone coverage area)?

I wish I could test that DannyNY. I'm going to be driving thru a non native AT&T area in few weeks, I 40 into NM, but I plan to be done with RP by then. But I'm very curious to know.

Yeh I highly doubt Red Pocket had any interest to negotiate and sign a deal for off network roaming with AT&T. This isn't a big demand issue as is data limits in the wireless conscience world today.

Has anyone ever tried a RP Sim in a non native AT&T area?
Just curious but I agree, I think not as well.
