How old is your SIM? Got no problems with a $0.99 sim from tmobile.com. We're talking wifi calling and not uma, right?

Just curious. I recall there are numbers on the Sim that indicate if it can do wi-fi calling. Or do they have the ability to do this, of course dependent on the phone being used.

I had one lying about from like three years ago. Ya I ordered a new one too for 99 cents.
Now with RP dropping their data down I'm looking to switch to another. Ordered a net 10 Sim as well but I kinda like the idea of wi fi calling and TMO not being a mvno but I don't like living in an Edge only TMO coverage area.
Most don't have to deal with customer service but dealing with EDGE is unavoidable if your area is only that.
I'd say go with Net10 over T-Mobile : considering the 3G, bigger coverage, call forwarding, and you already owning an AT&T smartphone (if that's the case). The WiFi calling on T-Mobile was terrible when I used it...VoIP app's have much better voice clarity than their WiFi calling - calls never sounded great and I simply turned it off after a few phone calls.
A different experience with both UMA & WiFi calling - both work great for me on two different phones as long as the WiFi network isn't overtaxed. For the most part it sounded as good as cellular.
Can't comment on the other considerations re the OP's circumstances: Net10 may be the better choice, but I don't think it should be made because of one user's poor experience with WiFi calling.
