I've read that there is a Samsung Note 2 coming the next few months. Any one hear this? I think the phone would fit my needs but what I REALLY want would be a pad phone like device (like the asus pas phone, only newer with better specs). A device that can act as a phone, tablet, and have a keyboard(battery) dock too.
Any links to pad phone 2 info would be helpful.
I don't keep up with cell phone news so have no idea of the best sites to keep an eye on for the latest reliable info...
thanks!!!

Nevermind Bell.. LTE is fine.
I'm a gear slut. I am buying the padfone off eBay. I will be buying an unlocked s3 as well. I am currently using a s2x, ip4 , ipad2 and an archos 80ag9. I love having different tech stuff. Keeps my brain interested. I guess I have ADD. I know I have G.A.D. (gadget aquistion disorder). Ha ha. Don't start on my notebook collection.

I reject your reality and substitute my own!
Me too. I'm lucky enough to live in a country where there's 2100mhz HSPA+ to use it--- but it would be killer if ASUS had released this as a pentaband phone!!
*All hail the coming of the MobiTerm (R)*
Thanks for the sites!!! I'm familiar with engadget but find they're a little bias towards Apple and give them a little too much praise. So it'll be awesome to look into the other links for a decent Android fixThanks!
You don't think it's a little late to buy a pad phone? I'd do the same thing (e-bay) but I can't get over the feeling that the next pad phone type device is just around the corner. I love the thought of having multi-function capabilities with a phone that can act as a tablet or netbook too. If it has a res higher then 1366x768 I'd be in love. You know? And forward facing speakers on the tablet, like the visio tablet with 3 speakers for stereo in any orientation. And a massive battery in the keyboard dock to balance the weight of having a top heavy tablet. Ooooo the dreams.........
I dont think it too late. its not even released in the states.
