    Airvoice and tethering?

anyone tried tethering on airvoice? does it even work or is it supposed to? does it work with unlocked iphone 4? i called them and didn't quite get a firm yes or no, they just said "we don't support your iphone", which is weird. i mean do they charge extra like at&t? and if yes how do we activate it? is there some callingmart card for it or something like that?

They are basically saying that you use your own iphone at your own risk with no tech support from H20 as they do not sell the phone themselves. Almost all carriers that have a bring your own device policy have something similar. You bring your own phone and are on your own for the most part but usually the savings are worth it.

As for tethering , Air Voice gives you 500 megs or one gig with no strings attached. No throttling, no penalty for how you use it. You bought the gig, you can use it any way you want. The only downside to this is that if you go over, it is expensive to buy add on data from them at this time...

Great Thanks, tried it and works great! hurray! freedom at last, AT&T and their $15 extra for a feature in my fully paid phone really sucked, thanks fonezfonz and airvoice.

I have a unlocked iPhone 4 on AirVoice... and I see no settings to enable tethering.

You'll need to jailbreak and install a program like TetherMe.
