Verizon sucks lately....!!!

Im just outside of Boston, and Verizon has really sucked lately. My phone constantly goes to 1x for data, and drops calls driving on 95 and 495. It's gotten really bad. I even did that *228 update. Same thing. It's terrible. I pay top dollar for crap! What do they think they are doing???? With these new plans, my bill will be an extra $60 per month! It's insane. I have nothing to do but cancel. I have a Sprint phone for work, and it works great. Boost runs off of Sprint's network, and it's much cheaper, with no contract!!! Why would I pay top dollar for crap and get locked into a contract and drop calls like crazy, AND get slow data?! It doesn't make sense. Verizon has always had the best coverage around thats why I started with them, but this has been going on for months, and I've had enough!!!!

Anybody else having coverage issues with Verizon lately?????

Right now I'm carrying a vz phone and also an att phone and both seem to be a little worse both in price and in coverage. I'm not in your area but in va/nc area. 4g on vz has been very flaky recently and text have been coming in late. When i go to europe, i constantly tell myself so this is how a cell network should perform. Cell service in the us stinks in my opinion and is overpriced. My AT&T phone sometimes doesn't ring when people call so I'm over paying for mediocre service.

I've noticed service has been getting worse for 4G. I'm in Los Angeles and back in March everything was great. I could get 18 mps consistently in my house. However about 2 months ago my house became a 4G dead zone. I've noticed service for 4G has been poor in other areas where I use to get 4G around LA as well. I'm sure Verizon's "official" answer is that more users = less bandwidth but I think they are throttling throughput.
