ATT LTE Sim into iPad 3 and get LTE Service?

    Hi,

I have an iPhone 4S with an LTE Sim card (obviously can't get lte), and I want to see if its possible to put that sim in an ipad lte att version and use data.

I was able to get the sim in the ipad and with some APN setting tinkering, I got 4G service. However Im not sure why, but I couldn't get LTE to work. Anyone know if it is possible, if so what are your LTE APN settings on your ipad?

    Thanks!

The SIM card probably isn't provisioned for LTE after all.
I usually support government regulation, but It is unfortunate that the government over-regulated and killed the AT&T/ T-Mobile Merger
The best explanation of the pricing nutiness in the industry.
Why Sprint and T-Mo will always suck.
The only way to end the pricing insanity is to eliminate contracts and subsidies.
I want Wifi calling on AT&T.
If you text while driving, you're an idiot. End of story.

It will work. Just have your data plan setup with an LTE phone first

You will get LTE data on AT&T iPad.

Only one drawback. AT&T will audit you quickly and send nasty text and disable your phone data for rest of month.

    Use at your own risk.
