Manual Activation of Blackberry Pearl

I have a verizon blackberry pearl activated on page plus. I can't get the internet to work. I have gone thru the WIki and maybe I'm not understanding how to do it. I need some more detailed instructions. It says it's legacy enabled but how do I load the service book? Where do I find it on the phone? I downloaded the desktop manager to my pc and did a backup of my device but what do i do next? I don't even know how to get to the browser on the phone. Help, I'm so lost!
