Hey all
As the title suggests I am thinking of taking advantage of the current Turbo stick promo 10 gb For $50 all in LTE. Here's the catch... I want to take the SIM out and use it in my LG optima LTE. Then use the phone as a hot spot. I understand that would mean the phone wouldn't work - only the data - and I am OK with that because I have a work paid phone for talk. Any reason why I shouldn't do this? Something to worry about? I'm not crazy about locking in for 3years but even that... given the deal seems worth it?
I don't see a problem in doing this...
Thanks... any thoughts on the plan/deal? Anyone try this before...? Anyone know if Bell is.able to determine its being used this way?
The $50 / 10GB is an excellent rate plan, $5 / GB.
I know several people who have used their data plans across devices; as long as the proper APNs are used (of which you can access all 3 on that plan), you will be OK.
It will definitely work, but others on this forum have been dinged with ppu charges for using Turbo stick plans on a cell phone, even when the right APN was used. Certainly a do at your own risk kind of thing because bell does not audit these things consistently.
pay per use for features other than data or for the data itself?
^Just for the data...PPU every little bit of data.
any reference to those conversations? I'm not pulling up anything in the search. Per offline conversation, I wonder if that has to do with using the right apn
