Those with phones on T-mobile's EIP payment plan...question for you

    Just curious...

If you're on T-mobile and you acquired your phone using their installment plan (the EIP they call it, the $20 dollar a month thing), could you try this out?

Go to the market, install the T-mobile my account app (from T-mobile), and look through the tabs in the program. Do any of the pages show your EIP fee? If so, could you type out what it says or maybe take a screen shot?

    THANK YOU!

Darn, thanks for looking. Does your plan show as "XXX min Value Talk?" though?

I see I see. Thanks for checking. The reason I asked was to see if there's any way not to get screwed when buying phones second hand. I was hoping that the Tmo app would show the EIP, but it looks like it doesn't. So basically if someone is on a classic plan you *should* be safe, but if they are on a value plan you just won't know if they're taking part in the payment plan.

    Shoot.
