    Mobilicity ruining MMS

    Hey guys

Everytime I get an MMS, it has been "resized to fit my device", and it also turns into a little movie.
That means its impossible to zoom or do anything with or export out of the MMS app.

Makes the feature less than useless, since people send me pictures and I can't make out what they are showing me.

    Let's get this fixed!

I never have issues with Mobilicity MMS on my Bold 9900. I always had issues with MMS with Mobilicity on an Android phone.

I'm on Android and MMS works fine for me right now. Have you tried an alternate messaging app? Go SMS Pro is definitely worth a try.
I was having problems sending/receiving with some custom ROMs but this app sorted it out.

Gotta agree here... no problems that I've noticed with MMS on my 9900

Im not having trouble sending or receiving, but mobilicity is resizing (I figured out the last one I got was 640x480) .
GoSMS pro does make it a little more usable because it lets you zoom! So thanks for that tip.
For whatever reason my native android sms app does a terrible job of dealing with that crappy 640x480 image.

I've been reading about and experiencing mms issues since I switched to mobi. I have a feeling it's related to the phone that was initially purchased while signing up. The system thinks you're using a dumb phone, it will resize the image for you. If it sees you're using a smart phone it won't resize them.

I would really appreciate clarification on this matter directly from Mobilicity. They said it was fixed months ago but it really hasn't changed at all.
When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

my first phone was the spice. i never had a dumb phone with mobi. maybe the system automatically defaults to a dumb phone?? but if that is the case shouldn't their tech support team know how to fix it?

I have the same problem... I get it resized and a mini movie a lot of the time... I've used the text program that comes with the phone as well as GO SMS Pro with the same results... what's app gets it right, but not everyone has or uses what's app regularly.

Their tech support team probably doesnt know how to fix it. We have given up complaining about this one. This and the voicemail thing (removing voicemail). Probably will never get fixed.

We should keep a list and when you are hobnobbing and drinking expensive whiskey and smoking cigars with the high mucky mucks at mobilicity you can pull that list out and hold their feet to the fire.
