As for actual widgets, I was a fan of Beautiful Widgets when I had my Droid a year-and-a-half ago. There might be better apps out now, but at the time, that was the go-to app.

I was surprised to find that the Galaxy S3 didn't ship with widgets for toggling GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth. Any suggestions on something that plays nice with the S3?

And there's obviously the ones in the notification bar as mentioned above. The only problem with those is it doesn't appear to be customizable. The one that comes with CyanogenMod7 was fully customizable (you pick which buttons and then could configure the options for those buttons). I need a widget to switch screen brightness (I'm told "auto" is a battery drain) so I had to install the Power Widget Lite above. I'd prefer that option - and GPS on/off - in the drop-down tool.
