Samsung Oopens their first Retail Store in Canada...Where's BlackBerry?

Would RIM benefit from developing their own Retail store?

IF Samsung, Google, and Apple already have one will RIM follow suit

If they're cutting 5000 corp employees......do you really think RIM has the operational budget to open stores.staff them. And sell old blackberrys that are not even BB 10!?!?!?

Exactly. A rim store is not even on their radar at present time.

RIM is a lost cause at this point.

RIM don't need to start a retail store and get bankrupted. Instead they should focus on improving their operating system and their design. Samsung and Apple are dominating the market and each of them want to beat the other and make a trade monopoly. Both of them have good OS and design to support their sales. I think it is better for RIM to make an alliance with Microsoft like Nokia and come up with new phones to compete in the market.
