Get SG III now or wait for RAZR Droid MAXX HD???

Hello everyone,

I am coming from IP4 and feel that I am now ready to switch to Android. I have verizon unlimited plan and am planning on keeping it as long as I can so I am not looking at a subsidized device. I have played with SGIII and its an amazing phone; I think I can really be happy with it. But before I pay $600+tax, I'd want to know if I am better off waiting for RAZR MAXX HD; it looks like a solidly constructed device (Kevlar???), better camera, better battery? What do you guys think?

Personally I lean towards Galaxy S III but I think both are excellent devices. But it's hard to ignore that fantastic battery of the Maxx!

One advantage of Galaxy S III is being released on more carriers, there are probably gonna be a lot more of them in the market & this should lead to more accessories. Given that, someone might come up with an extended battery which still keeps the device reasonably thin!

I also prefer its form and like the physical home key.

But... being on Verizon there have been some reported wifi bugs you should read about before buying one. Don't remember exact details but something about constantly popping up messages about wifi spots & disabling data while it tries to connect.

I am using the s2x, if the three is half as good, which I know it is, you will love the galaxy device. I'm going after a III myself.

Don't wait. Just get Galaxy S III and enjoy. Because many better phone devices will be released. You will never get the "best" one.

I feel that no matter what, you will not go wrong with the Galaxy S3.

That said, the next RAZR Maxx, RAZR HD or RAZR MAXX HD whatever they will call it, sounds like its going to be a nice phone. The best possible preview of it might be is the new Atrix HD with AT&T. If I can imagine the Atrix HD with the same screen or slightly bigger, and a bigger battery, it can be a winner. The question is when will it come out?
