What is a Verizon Retail Customer Support Rep????

So I just got a job offer for a Verizon Retail Customer Support Rep and I was Wondering if someone could help me out and let know a little about what they do?

Are they the person that acutally stand on the floor and sale phones or are they the person that is more behind the counter with the sale and go get the phone in the back and set it up for the customer person?

Iam open to help if i sound stupid its because iam new at this job never sold a thing in my life lol but super excited about it.

My job prior to this new one was in the army for 7 yrs as a military police officer.

You are at the desk working on billing and other cs issues. You also have a sales quota but don't get compensation for it as I remember.
