At&t SGS III, LTE

Anyone try it? Speedtest?
Those are some pathetic speeds after experiencing AT&T and VZW LTE.
From another forum:
Duluth, GA.

Ill take it with Unlimited......You are smart enought to realize that the difference between 15Mbs and 30mbs down is pretty un noticeable to the naked eye on a smartphone right, you are smart enough to know no Smartphone right now can even produce data over 5MBs down, processors cant take advantage of that.....
So the fact Verizon and ATT give you 30 MBs down (at times) is meaningless....even 15MB down on Sprint is overkill.....
In mobile all one need is 5-10 down and rock solid consistenecy and coverage.....anything more is Unnessacary.
Sprint has already overcome "perception" (1million sub losses per Qtr) and now at highest ever levels. So it depends, obviously Sprint has yet to experience a real impact with their "Network Vision". However with all the money being invested, marketing NV itself in addition to the existing unlimited campaign could make a difference. Improved or revamped family plans, such as the ones on promotion with existing customers right now, could also help spur growth.

I'd even take 10mb LTE with Sprint if it meant unlimited data. I laugh when ATT LTE users get 50mb/s down but the unlimited users are throttled to 2G speeds after 5gb and tiered users will face overages. What a joke. Their LTE network is blazing fast because nobody can really use it.
It's also "Blazing Fast" because it hasnt been stress tested yet....You wait when that LTE iPhone comes a shore....Those speeds will drop and we'll see who really has the network for 4G...Something tells me that wont be ATT.
More than likely once LTE smartphones are the norm....Sprint, Verizon, ATT speeds will all be within 5MBs of each other...Look at Verizon once producing 30MB down in Huge Population center cities (NYC, SF, LA) is now slowing significantly to around 10-15MB....which is why they're trying desperately to buy more spectrum and to off load the Unlimited users. Once that LTE iPhone hits, Verizon LTE will have some serious congestion to deal with in big cities.
I truly believe their will be a point if they're not successful with Buying up more spectrum, Verizon will need to overhaul its network as well to become more spectrum efficient.
Sprint's already ahead of the game in this respects, they see what's coming down the pike in 2-3 years.

With regards to LTE speeds, here's an informative tidbit I found:

In the past 5 years while Sprint has absolutely bled customers and chalked up billions of losses, Verizon has made billions. I would worry about Sprint's cash flow and ability to pay Apple their enormous subsidies and pay for NV.
Not sure I am ready to call Sprint the winner.
I agree, 3.5+ years ago it was a whole new world with 4G speeds on the go for mobile devices. It's 2012 not 2009. That has worn off and has become the norm now, some of those who are still new to "4G" will still get their rocks off on speed test pissing matches but today it's about balance. 5-10Mbps reasonably priced unlimited, all day any day. Higher speeds than that aren't needed in a mobile environment.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT....Verizon's LTE is NOT a new Network...Its LTE overlayed on its existing network...Verizon wouldn't have been able to put up LTE as fast if they were constructing an entirely new network like Sprint...
You need to study up before coming on here trying to check some one....Check yourself....
