iPhone & Tethering?

Is tethering/wireless AP free with the iPhone contract? My Galaxy S I crapped out on me and I need a phone today. Would like to be able to still use the phone as a wireless AP at the lake like a do with my rooted droid.

With the 1gb package as well as the unlimted plan come with 250 mb per month of tethering.
If you choose the unlimited plus plan for 74.99 then it comes with unlimited (10 gb) manitoba tethering.

If you Jailbreak and install PDAnet your tethered data is routed through your primary IP and not the secondary tethering one. All your tethering will fall under the unlimited (10gig)
