    Boost Competition

    Hey all,

I've been using Boost off and on for a long time now, and like many, have been disappointed by some of the newer changes. Starting with the price increase on Android devices, and now on to a full speed data cap coming soon (I assume for all users). I know that even with these in place, Boost is still a great carrier. However, I'm wondering what other options out there might be as good or better than Boost at this point.

If anyone has unbiased opinions or recommendations, I'd love to hear them. Thanks everyone.

Boost is hands down the best. I'm a boost customer and I have the option to go to Verizon. Verizon prepaid is $50. Not happening. I've been a customer paying my dues for a while... my payments are down to $35. NOBODY can beat that! If you have a GSM phone you can go to straight talk or simple mobile but data is not "unlimited". 2gb is your unmentioned cap.

Are you on the Android plan. You can lower your bill by $5. Use this method.

Since you've been a customer for a while I'm sure you got a referral code from them. If you have a current referral code then PM it to me. I'll have your code used and Boost will give you $25 credit for each new customer. You can refer up to 3. If you're not a monthly customer then you do not have one...

Boost speeds are so unreliable. One second I can get 1020kbs down, next its 32kbs down or less, never changing a think location included. I am sick of having crappy connections. I am looking to move, not sure I will but the only other option for me is Straight Talk. They can get ATT true 3G speeds, Tmobile would be an option if my city had 4g, but its not here.
