For a total of $52.13 including HST in BC (we are at 12.5% ... may vary in another province). I was force to sign a 3 year contract with this plan change (I have a year left on my old contract) however I did not get a new phone. I have recently move to work at another phone company and will no longer require Roger service.

There remains 2 years and a half on the contract. I can check for any upgrade functions. Free take over.

I am having a difficult time with transferring the account. They have been very thorough in extracting information on if you are eligible for the account. Rogers has allowed me to port out my number without any charges therefore I am simply going to close my account.

Thank you for all the interest however I am tired of fighting with Rogers.
