I'm in Center City Philly (19103) and 4G is available about 75% of the time. Last measurement was 1.1Mbps down and 73kbps up!!! WOrse than 3G ... most of the time upload times out and I can't do Internet.

While deployment is underway in Philly, LTE isn't 'officially' launched there yet. Obviously there are some issues there that need to be rectified before the launch occurs. Perhaps there's a delay with the backhaul or they have to do some adjustments or optimizations with the cell sites.

Although near my house is consistently blazing fast, throughout the south side of Chicago, I only average between 3-9mbps down / 2-6mbps up while driving. Still, not bad.
