I said it before and you guys can search it and quote me from back in the day .. I kept saying that WIND will try and force its customers on the HMP off that plan or off their sick plans ... and it is becoming a reality as we speak ...

I'm one of the HMP customers that's disappointed by winds decision not to include HMP in the upgrade offer. I joined wind during the challenging months when they were building out their network. Obviously they are still doing this but they have made significant progress. With this in mind I feel that wind should reward early adopters like myself with the ability to upgrade. I understand these plans are the holy grail of plans but it's important to keep customers like myself happy.
Would like to hear from others. Perhaps we can make our voice heard. Also curious to see how many HMP Customers they are.

What does HMP stand for?
I don't understand.... what exactly is the problem? You can't get Windtab (or Windtab +) if you have a HMP? They won't let you get a new tab if you already have an existing tab? They won't sell you a GS3 outright if you have a HMP? Sorry, please clarify.
Holiday Miracle Plan. $40 plan which was basically everything unlimited everything. The first iteration included unlimited calling to the US; and tethering was official included. Anyway, on the subject matter, I personally could care less. If it's not companies fleecing the customers, it's customers throwing around the entitlement card.
That said, there is multiple ways to the same end. It's up to the individual to chose whether or not they want to go the least path of resistance.
Here is the thing .. I dont know why the fuss about upgrading to the GS3
first of all even IF you were allowed to get it on Windtab or whatever it will cost you $299 .. lets say $300 ...
if you already have $300 for the phone ... might as well spend an extra $300 and get it without windtab ...
if you would have paid say $99 for the phone then I can see the frustration but if you can afford $300 then might as well pay the rest and then you would be free to leave whenever and not pay WIND back the difference ...
thats what I would do but I am not a fan of the SG3 .. I am waiting for the Galaxy Note 2 international version to arrive and will probably switch providers then!
If I know I'm going to be with a provider for an extended period of time I believe windtab makes sense. With that said if given the option to put this on windtab I would.

The HMP DOES qualify for a tab account. It does have to be a pay after account but if you're pay before you can transfer the account over providing you qualify.
What I disagree with is not having the option of buying the SIII outright.
Quite frankly, I have no interest in the SIII and I`m struggling to see what all the fuss is about. But I, like you, have huge issues with the direction WIND is taking; essentially shutting out pre-paid customers from incentives and only selling desirable phones on the tab. This isn`t a one shot deal, WIND has made it clear that this is the way that they intend to do business from now on. So for the vast majority of WIND customers it seems that our business isn`t good enough for them.
I can see the fuss if you are coming from a crappy phone but if you have the Gnex for example then there is no REAL difference except for the camera and the memory (expandable) and the S beam ... not a huge difference that will let me drop the gnex for this ... but the Galaxy Note 2 ... I can see the need to drop the Gnex and use it as a backup!
Let me put some fuel on the fire folks. Vote with your feet. They may want people off of the HMP, but not by way of the door.
