I for one dont beleive in this type of thing typically, but a very good friend of mine is extremely worried aboout her son..He has an iphone 3g i beleive and needs to find an app that will help her get a log of his text messages.. not for normal stuff like swearing or nudity,she is pretty cool about that,but a friend of her sons that has a heroin problem is calling him alot though forbidden to be with him>My friend is worried her 15 yr old may be in some real danger with this kid...
Is there an app to keep and log his texts?Wether it be hidden from him or not.SHE pays the phone bill...LOL> I could really use your guys's help!

You can Google it but some of the App's may not work with the older i3g www.cell-watch.com spy watch thier are many apps and are some what COSTLY but if you value your kid's then you can spend from 35-50.00 for 3 months of service,I chose a different method and spent thousand's to build a 24x30 shop and put all the stuff my grandkids are into tv internet TOOl's and try to teach them how to work on there go karts mini bike's soon cars and also help as much as they let me with home work,I've even thought of showing them what the dark side of life can do to a person.Your friend has a big project on their hand's.I dont think that there's any one way to keep them safe it has to be all the above and more Good Luck

On a totally dif subject, I'm normally an android guy,rooted my share of stuff,but jailbroke (clicked button lol) my first iPhone the other day and need to get it tethered..the persons phone is Verizon.I honestly don't even know what 2 do with cydia but I need to know my next step in getting this thing to wirelessly tether or to be a hotspot and I promised her (if I can) that I would have it done In 4 days b4 her vacation. Help!

Anyone know what i would do next to get this phone so i am able to make it a portable wifi hotspot? (Just for surfing on ipad) Is this even possible with Iphone 4? It certainly is for my Skyrocket,but i dont know Apple products at all..... Anyone?

It took me a couple posts to realize that Dollie is either a total TOS freak,or doesnt understand what i was getting to.
Anywho,for anyone that needs the correct answer to this and would like to tether wirelessly from your Jailbroken Iphone,lookup MyWi or pdanet... Maybe google "pdanet tether Jailbroken Iphone" and you will find what you are looking for...
Though way off topic, i wanted to correct the posts before this.

1. you answered and your post helped none whatsoever,because i had to find out by pm that what you really meant was call at&t and change my plan to one that would require paying more.Maybe if you picked up on the fact thet i jailbroke the phone for a REASON,you would understand what the heck i was talking about.Your answer sucked.
