Anyone try to get this with some retention credits?

That's the million dollar question will they retain the retentions credits, I have unlimited incoming credit and early evenings @ 5pm credit, I don't care about the 5pm thing but the unlimited incoming is handy.

I did this at the store level. Only expenses are $10 for the sim card (keeping my Galaxy Nexus that I bought outright) and the $35 activation fee.

The $7 Caller ID/Voicemail option is apparently something they have in the system at stores that they can add in. It's basic voicemail, but it's cheaper than adding Caller ID by itself, go figure.

Did this at Wireless Etc. (Costco) for anyone curious.
You may want to consider going back ... LOL Virgin just came out with their counter on Rogers new super 6GB plan!

Awesome! This is just what I was waiting for. Got a rep that had read about it this morning, so she knew what was going on. Made the switch easy, and I'm set on the new plan. I save $10 a month, and increase my data from 1Gb to 6Gb.

TuneIn radio app is too addictive, now I'm safe using it more. Thanks OP

it's so so. There are some channels that stream at a pleasurably high encryption which is nice. If you're into electronica., di.fm has a premium service which pumps out 256kbps streams of pure godness.

So this plan with "IPhone Value Pack w/Vvmail" for $12.79 would have this plan coming in at $83.71 including tax and all charges?

30-day agreement, meaning m2m, meaning no subsidized device, hence the 10% discount? Is it on their site yet? I don't see it.

Maybe the best course of action would be to wait until at least friday to let some of the other companies come up with counter offers then call Rogers, I think it would provide the consumer a little more leverage. So far I like Virgin's counter, but I really really need at least My5, looks like getting a credit for caller ID and VM isn't a big deal. Let's keep an eye on this.

The problem with the Virgin plan is that there is no Canada wide calling, and you still need to add CID.

I also got a retention offer for this plan with $10 credit. So with the $7 caller id/voicemail, it comes up to $57 plus tax. I still have not accepted though.

Also should add, Bell's version includes 10 hours Mobile TV as well.
