If the 6gb plan can be shared, that's a good deal to split it. I never thought I would put "good deal" and bell in the same sentence.

Yup, get the $60 -6GB "Share" version, then have your rep add a second line "$10 tablet share". Also, the $10 line has a promo "free SIM and waived activation" right now and of course, no contract on that line.

Voice and data can be split on that second line, not just data.

Nope...the $10 is DATA ONLY splitting. Your URL even specifically states "share your data with a tablet".

To split voice, the second line would have to be another full voice / voice + data share plan. Then both lines would pool their voice.

    E.G., 2x Fab 10 6GB Share + $10 Data Share = 2 lines sharing 400 minutes, 3 lines sharing 12GB.

    However, 1x Fab 10 6GB Share + $10 Data Share = 1 line with 200 minutes, 2 lines sharing 6GB.

Ok, how would this example work?
    Fab 10 6GB Share + Voice 47 with 600 minutes
Would it be 1 line with 6gb and sharing 800min with the 2nd line, or would it be 2 lines sharing all the minutes and data?

The second line would not have access to the data as the second line has no data on the line. Both lines must be V+D Combo or Fab 10 with 1GB or more for both the voice and data to pool. **this is still the Rogers forum, perhaps move this question over to the Bell section**

Ok, that's what I thought. It's funny how a discussion about a new plan turns into one about all the better, competing plans.

I finally got around to taking a look at the superplan page and they proudly shout "Forget the Wi-Fi, 6 GB is enough for all your needs. Bottom line, you can do it all." Wow. Some people are going to be surprised when they get their bill.
    Rogers:
    Unlimited Canada-wide calling, 2500 sent SMS - $35; 6GB Data - $30 less $10; Call Fwd/xfr - N/C; Local UMA - N/C; Value Pak - $10

    Moblicity:
    $23 BTS

Some maybe yes, but there is an awful lot you can do with 6gb of data, and for those conditioned to using 500mb or 1gb, 6gb is more than enough.

Go to bestbuy and port your number over to koodo. They gave us the option to go on a tab but since we didn't like any of the koodo phones they gave us a $150 bestbuy gift card which we used to buy another phone outright.

Just want to add my $0.02.

Called in to Rogers, explained that the Koodo plan is better for me and why (Canada-wide calling, CID and VM), and that I'm at the end of my contract and have an unlocked phone. The girl was nice, explained that there wasn't much she could do, and offered to put me through to Customer Relations. She briefed the next rep, which was a very nice touch. The CR rep asked about the Koodo plan and what it had that Rogers didn't, and we ended up with what I found to be a good deal, at least compared to what I had before. She also kept my $5 1000 CND LD option for free, which was what made the deal (all with no contract! What a refreshing change!).

    Thanks Rogers!

So what was the deal that you ended up with?

I have now tried with 4 different Retention reps. They all said the $60 promo plan does not allow them to give extra free features or credits. The best I got was one rep said she can try to switch me over and see if the system would remove my free incoming. If it doesn't, then I'm in luck. But if it gets chopped, then they can't put it back on. Maybe it's time to give up...
