I don't understand. Why post in the retentions thread? My questions aren't related to retentions.

I have another question regarding this plan as well. I know someone that currently has a corporate plan with her employer. She wants to leave that plan and get a new personal account. Is it possible to get the 6GB Super Plan with BES on a personal account that is not corporate? Thanks.

You never know, some deals happen sooner.. And there was some previous loyalty there.

Still, Rogers isn't being very competitive for many right now.

You can only get BIS with the 6GB super plan. BES is not available with this plan.

If I get this plan, could I put it into a Rogers LTE Wireless Hotspot? I want to have one of these 6GB plans, but still have several months left on Mobilicity, and I need internet in a new place, for perhaps only a few months... Would I be able to kill two birds with one stone? I'd use it on month to month until I needed it for phone purposes, and then perhaps sign a contract and get a phone on a 3 year when the time came.

Clarification: I realize it wouldn't officially be supported in the hotspot - I'd buy the hotspot outright, and set up a SIM-only plan separately.

hows bell compared to rogers? can i still get the discount even if i get a phone, or do a hup in the future? i go to yorku, and with wind currently, 0 reception. haha. (i kno this is a rogers thread, not bell, but bell came up) and are data speeds comparable, 3g and lte... thx

i was thinking koodo as well, but they dont have data share =(

Price wise, I think Rogers and Bell are about the same. I would pick Rogers over Bell any day. I hate Bell/Virgin with a passion. They have the worst customer service. Rogers is improving. Try their retentions dept and see what they can offer you. If you don't get what you want, I would highly recommend you go with Telus. They have the best customer service. I was with Koodo but they carry low end devices, so I switched to Telus. Same company, better devices. Just my opinion and my experience with these carriers.

I'm thinking of porting over from Fido to Rogers for this plan. I need to know if MY10 feature can have US and International phone numbers added to it mostly for incoming purposes.

    Thanks in advance!

My10 is restricted to Canadian numbers only.

I must admit, I'm blown away at some of the plans you've been able to get. I got less considering what some of you have been able to get. My initial goal was to lower my price to $40 or so but I was upsold on Super 6Gb plan.

$60 6Gb Super Plan (added shared data should I decide to buy additional SIM for my laptop)
+100 daytime minutes (300 minutes total)
    $10 unlimited incoming
    $7 mini VM and CD
    -$10 for incoming
    -$10 credit
    total $57 plus tax

Thanks for sharing your info! Any additional tips or tricks are greatly appreciated!
    Cheers,

    P.S. I've been a Rogers customer since June 1994.... yes, 1994!

Has this promo been extended? I know it's common for Rogers to extend their promos. This plan is still shown on their website.
