SH-01D - Application help?

So I've been playing around with this new SH-01D I just got and it has some things that I'm not quite sure about.

Theres a personal data area that just seems to freeze up when I try to look at it.

There's also a contents headline that when selected just pops up a huge block of Japanese text. Same with the (What I'm assuming is) GPS navigation/map (it has a map picture of somewhere in Japan)

Not too sure what to do with these things or how to get them to update or function etc.

Just get rid of them, they're no use for you outside of Japan / when you don't speak Japanese.

Ah alright

I have knowledge of some japanese but it's definitely not on par with using technology yet... ;___;
