Jolt Mobile will be joining if they haven't already fellow /rival Att mvno Air Voice in offering the lowest priced readily available Att /gsm mvno plan for unlimited talk/text at $35 soon.

Very little info on the details. For example does this $35 include mms or is texting just sms?
Any good places to get the SIM cheap? I think I saw the SIMs alone will set you back around $18 (all in including shipping and taxes). Not a big deal, but if you lose the phone or anything happens and you need to replace the sim its $18 again?
Air Voice sims on ebay are cheap. Only talk/text. No mms. No data.
Yes, I know airvoice sims are readily available on ebay. I don't recall finding inexpensive sims for Jolt there or don't know where else to look.
Oddly I called Jolt to see how much local dealers are charging and Jolt gave me the name and number of 2 different local companies that are supposedly dist of Jolt Mobile. Called both and one never heard of Jolt and the other doesn't do business on behalf of Jolt. Very odd, and not very confidence inspiring. Airvoice looking better after that call (very different experience when calling Airvoice and asking them similar questions)...
I thought Red Pocket Sims could be used on Jolt, since Jolt is a MVNO of Red Pocket
Anyone here who has made international calls on Jolt? I signed up for H2O recently and 80% of my international calls would fail to one way audio or would drop.
The problem with Jolt Mobile is
1) Customer Service is the worst
2) They charge an activation fee which no other GSM pre-paid does
3) Their sim cards are expensive
4) No activation spiffs at all
5) No residuals at all
What do #4 and #5 mean, I have no idea. Thanks for your thoughts.
#4&5 are for distributors not for retail. Also you cannot use red pocket sims because the sims are registered to each company so one cannot use one with the other. However you can use a red pocket refill on any jolt phone.
